Stella2019
My vet says my Irish terrier is crosseyed. Im not sure how that will affect his vision he can be nervy and i wonder if he lacks peripheral vision ive attached a couple of photos but im not sure how bad it is the vet didnt give me any information has anyone had much experience with this. I was planning to compete in obedience with him Edited February 4, 2021 by Stella2019
Rebanne
I can imagine it could make him a bit jumpy. I'd be back at the vets asking for more info and if they can't help then seek out a specialist. May not be a problem in low levels of obedience but could hinder his ability to see the dumbbell or judge a jump correctly for instance.
Tassie
What @Rebanne said. Personally I'd definitely be getting a consult with a vet eye specialist. I don't know where you are in VIc, but there's a specialist service in Melbourne that has a regular roster of regional visits (who knew Tasmania was a region of Victoria .)
