turquoise
Our pup has grown into a much larger dog than expected. Unfortunately the crate she is most comfortable in (107x70x80) does not fit easily into our Hyundai i40 wagon, when collapsed. If the crate was 100 long rather than 107 all would be good. It seems that all collapsable crates have nearly identical dimensions and I'm struggling to find one that is shorter in length, but has the same heigh and width. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy custom sized, or irregular sized collapsable crates in Australia?
Pjrt
There are companies who will make you custom fit, removable crating options for your vehicle. I have never used one of these companies myself but I reckon someone here will jump in with some options for you
stellnme
Would a soft crate suit your dog rather than a wire one? The XL one is still 107cm but may be more "squashable" to fit inside your vehicle.
turquoise
Unfortunately our pup is just 11 months old and still quite the destructo-pup, so I think we are a few years off trusting her in a soft crate. It's certainly something I hope to move onto in the future.

sandgrubber
Presuming it's a metal crate, I'll bet someone who is handy with wire / fencing / welding could cut yours down.
PossumCorner
Puppy Bars are good, in FTG Vic. But if you google welder handyman canberra (or wherever nearest large town) you'd find one of those no-job-too-small people, even some in the Grey Army franchise are very reasonable if it's just an angle grinder and re-weld job.
