Lanny1
My dog likes to play with the water and splash all the water out of the water bowl. I then worry that he wont have water to drink then. Any ideas? Do these things work well for this? https://peto.com.au/catit-2-0-senses-flower-water-fountain-3l/
JRG
Don’t know anything about the one you mention, I use a Road Refresher which does not spill and is difficult to play with the water.
Dogsfevr
Consider raising the bowl . Water bowl players are a pain so maybe look at teaching him a play pool spot and no go spot
sandgrubber
Use a bucket, 10+ liters, and put it somewhere where splash will be OK. Outside, maybe. Dogs are fine with walking some distance to get water.
persephone
Give him several watering points ( suitable sized buckets ,( water level /throat -chest high) securely fastened) these are dogs ... they don't care if they drink from a bucket ... or a puddle ;)

Ok... so I presume this is during the times he is home alone ? What else does he have to occupy him during the day ? exactly what activities and toys ? Lanny1
He is a pomeranian poodle. So far he only plays with water when I'm home. He isn't destructive at all. I pretty sure he just sleeps.
