BoldNFearless
most likely getting ahead of myself .. i have a litter of 6 week old puppies and not all balls are down .. the pick boy has none and the others are sold but a mix of some with balls and some with 1 and 2 with none. i understand i need to give them alot more time but looking to put my mind at ease that im worrying too early ? dams brother retained both balls (1 of only 2 males other one was fine) dams first litter ALL boys had their balls at 6 weeks. any suggestions ... ive read to give zinc or vitamin e but struggling to find vitamin e powder that doesnt cost a milllion dollars for 500g. Rebanne
yeah zinc is supposed to be good. I give my boys until 12 weeks of age before I write them off. One of my litters, pick boy was going to Europe, only one down. Called it quits at 12 weeks, missing one never came down. My reasoning for 12 weeks is, if a male was bought for potential future stud work, did you really want to have a houseful of pups hanging around for months waiting to see if their balls dropped? Sister to dog with missing testicle had 2 males in her litter and both were fine before 8 weeks.
