"I had tried it first to confirm it was comfortable and safe being inside," said dog trimmer Ayana Tada who works at Dog World. The dog wash was designed in the US and so far Japan only has 10 machines, but at only 10 US dollars for a wash and dry, it is considerably cheaper than the 50 US dollars hand wash alternative.
