mita
Puppy farm at Dunolly Vic (near Bendigo?) was directed to close by RSPCA & Council because accommodation (& sales methods) not in compliance with current law. Bendigo newspaper reported that the owner surrendered most of the dogs to independent rescue groups. A photo of a Tibetan Spaniel accompanied the article so we're trying to track which rescue groups took dogs in and which one/ones have Tibbies. Does anyone associated with Rescue in Victoria have on-the ground info about these rescue groups, so we can check for any Tibbies? Thanks.
_PL_
BAWCS (Bendigo Animal Welfare & Community Services) might have heard something.
JRG
A number of Councils use the Lort Smith Animal Hospital for their rescues <www.lortsmith.com> They might know something.

mita
I still haven't found which rescues those dogs went to. RSPCA & local Council moved on the PF because accommodation was not suitable for welfare of 57? dogs. PF elected to reduce the number by surrendering them to rescue groups. RSPCA directed that a few remaining be desexed. RSPCA didn't have a list of those rescue groups, nor did the local Council (Loden). I did find that Animal Aid had taken dogs from an illegal Cavoodle PF that was required to close. But that was another Council area... Wellington (?). So please keep ears to the ground if you hear of any Vic rescue group (s) that have taken PF dogs.
