Christine_72
Does anyone know where to purchase videos for dogs here in Aus? Something i can put on for my anxious dog when i go out. I have seen some on ebay, but they all come from overseas and are ridiculously expensive! Surely there are Aussie retailers who sell them, but thus far I've had no luck finding any. The Spotted Devil
There are cat ones on Amazon so surely there are dog ones!
Papillon Kisses
Not a video, but get yourself the Through A Dog’s Ear albums. The ones by Lisa Spector and Joshua Leeds. They really work! Follow the instructions for use. They are on iTunes, eBay, or you can buy from Polite Paws Online Store. Polite Paws also have the units that come preloaded with hours of music rather than purchasing them separately. https://icalmpet.com/ https://www.politepaws.com.au/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=142_146&zenid=i9ohgk0eoo21jdas7gdj625dp7 Are you getting help for your anxious dog too?
Christine_72
Thanks @Papillon Kisses . He has separation anxiety, and will cry and howl whenever we go out! We are following all of the tips, but would like to add more bits and pieces to the arsenal, as he loves watching dogs on tv. @The Spotted Devil I found one dvd on Amazon for $126 Not sure what else to put in the search engine there.. PossumCorner
How effective are they supposed to be? I just leave the ABC on for Rheneas. Often enough the same TV commentators' voices there, so a bit of continuity/reassurance all is normal.
The Spotted Devil
Some of my cats adore the CDs. It’s like putting on The Wiggles for a toddler for Lilly. My beloved Brontë (Lilly’s daughter) thought it was ridiculous when you could get cuddles with your human mum. My dogs would bark at the screen I suspect. Last thing they need is more stimulation
