This just popped up in my email. 

 

I adopted Beau,  my very first ever dog (with my dad) from the Lonsdale shelter in Adelaide in about 1981. It was a tired facility then.  

Fast forward about 36 years when I adopted my current dog from the very same shelter in Feb 2017. Despite a few minor upgrades over the years, the shelter,  especially the animal holding areas, are exactly as they were, already tired and outdated, three and a half decades ago.

 

A new location, a new facility, a new direction.....I couldn’t be more pleased to hear about this.
