corvus
From social media: Calling Australian residents - we are recruiting for a new study! La Trobe University’s Anthrozoology Research Group are interested in hearing what you think about dog breeding practices and breeding dog welfare in Australia. Are you over the age of 18, reside in Australia and able to read and write in English? If so, we’d love to hear from you! The survey is unfunded and is not affiliated with any outside organisations or individuals. Your responses are completely anonymous and should take you no more than 20 minutes to complete. For more information and to complete the survey, please go to: https://latrobe.co1.qualtrics.com/j…/form/SV_2a8azlQnUKLoePj Please feel free to share the survey with anyone you think could be interested in participating. 2
RuralPug
I did this survey and encourage everyone to do the same. If you find yourself in difficulty deciding between a degree of agreement or not to a statement because in some circumstances this and in other circumstances that, then answer the question assuming the most common circumstance, and make a little note for later. At the end of the survey you will get a chance to input your thoughts so you can clarify there. There has been some comment that the group leader doing the survey is known as an anti-ANKC person, so we will wait to see how the results are tabulated. Governments WILL take notice of "research" like this - hopefully the raw data will be made publicly available to that we can interpret results for ourselves and discuss if we need to take steps (as ANKC affiliate group members) to work towards more education. Do share with your friends as well. The more who respond the better the data. Edited September 21, 2017 by RuralPug fat finger typo
PossumCorner
Filled it in. Not with a lot of optimism (lies, damned lies and statistics, all that). But it's like voting, or the current yes/no survey, if you don't participate you can't whinge at the outcomes.
Bob
Been a while since I was in here, glad to have been able to do this. of course only a study and unlikely to impact legislative processes but somewhere to start.
