Leg weights after surgery

My young dog had Legg Perthes operated on about 4 weeks ago. He needs to have a weight on his leg for short periods of time. Any imaginative people out there have any ideas? He's a Pomeranian so that makes it even harder as he's only 3kg. I've googled trying to buy something but can't find anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Guessing.  Maybe vet wrap around something heavy... like the lead sinkers fishermen use.

A boot with a suitable weight in it?

Another thought.  Try the jewelry section of a crafts store.  You might find a heavy ring that's open at the bottom and bendable.  You will surely find beads and elastic thread or fixed string and class from which you could make a tiny weighted bracelet.

Does it actually need to be weight or will the additional muscles and rang of movement created when strapping a TTouch Pad to it do the same job? That is what I would do. Easy to make or buy. It will create him to lift him leg higher on his own therefore using the muscles well.
