Kazm
That's brilliant. Gives us a good insight to where dogs are able to be if we ever decide to head that way. And that's always a good possibility

Canisbellum
Sounds like one of our dogs - used to love day-trips, but if he saw a tent or cooking gear being packed it was very much: "Is this one of those damned things when we stay out all night?" Is it the heat that's getting to them? I think it's the bouncing around on bad roads and 4wd tracks. I stop every 2 hours or so and let them out and give them water and I try and keep daily travels around the 400km mark but they were shaken and not stirred a fair bit. Canisbellum
Been busy collating and editing photos, still have a few to go but Most of them will appear on Flickr's map so you can see where they were taken if you click on the photo. Will also have Exif data and you will be able to see which are phone photo's as well. There may be some repeats so please dont lynch me. _Q2A8801 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A8808 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A8822 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A8867 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A8869 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A8919 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr

PossumCorner
Terrific series. The track looks very only just. Were there ever any times when you thought you might not make it - given that photography minimises slope, so it was probably even steeper than it looks?? Canisbellum
Much much worse than they look in the photos, I have some video I am still editing which may show more. I had to winch my way up one creek exit because it was very chewed up and the trailer draw bar bottomed out on the one entry so I had to winch myself about 5m till I was past that point. Because of the trailer I did try and use the easiest options there were. Thanks Perse I have a few more pics to edit still.
JenL
@Canisbellum what great photos and what an adventure. My husband and I did a very little amount of 4 wheel driving and photos certainly don't do the terrain justice.
Canisbellum
After the Telegraph track was the Jardine river Ferry. We only got in at 7pm so had to camp there till the next morning. Canisbellum
The Tip. We were about 200m short my old man was struggling over the rocks and the wind was blowing him over. HE was clinging to that plinth for dear life the wind was so strong. The Challenger made it there and back without mishap and surprised more than a few people along the Telegraph Track. _Q2A9247 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9246 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr_Q2A9242 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9240 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9237 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9234 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9231 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9221 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9228 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr _Q2A9208 by Isithombe Photographic, on Flickr 4
