LittleJerry
Hi, I'm looking at buying a Jack Russell puppy. It so happens that the father of this puppy was sadly put down due to pancreatitis. Should I be concerned about this happening in the puppy layer on, due to heridatory issues or is it strictly a matter of controlling diet? Thank you for any help
Rebanne
As far as I am aware it is not hereditary. But taking care of diet wouldn't hurt anyway. Ask your vet about it.
Dogsfevr
Some breeds have a higher risk But it still comes down to diet
