Dog wound never healing

my little Yorkshire terrier, Maggie was bit by another dog about 3 years ago. She almost died. We finally had it stitched. After 3 months it reopened and the vet glued it shut. Now it has open again. Why isn't it healing?  We're the stitches not properly done?

so it has opened after 2 1/2 years? I'd be taking the dog to a vet pronto

Time for a different vet, and a check up NOW .  Poor little dog .

If there were internal stitches the first time, this could have caused an issue. sometimes they don't dissolve or so extremely slowly. Often they part break down and come out through the skin. This slows down healing incredibly. A couple of years...hmmm, I guess possible but unlikely unless your dog was upsetting the surgical site during this time.

Probably left of centre but... when wounds on humans don''t heal,properly or take a long time it can be because they have undiagnosed diabetes

New vet! That's definitely not normal. Even if it's just a long standing infection you'll need antibiotics for quite some time before it will heal properly.
