PANDI-GIRL
Are there any good tips on how to keep a puppy sitting still for Photos, other than when asleep. Avatar Photo's should only be of our Pets - Not computer or cartoon distortion , faces are freaky when distorted , ( Persephone ) Nice Photo's of our Dogs will Always look better, Should be a Rule, Easier to look at. tdierikx
Exercise before trying to take photos... tire them out some... Training sit/stay with food rewards... Squeaky toy held above camera and shoot down for adorable "I'm really interested in you" shots... works wonders for older playful dogs too... see photo I got the other week... ... or you can go for action shots showing off cute dog in full play mode... persephone
basically it's knowing how the pup reacts in a given situation , and having patience . https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/655/21708330533_57ac3e16f6_c.jpg

mita
Older 'puppies'. But I loved this little girl's trick for keeping her tibbies still & facing the camera when taking their pics. Their ball tucked under her chin. image001.jpg.pdf Edited March 16, 2017 by mita

tdierikx
What colour is your pup? Black needs good light to show well... and white/blonde needs a shadier spot so you don't over-expose... T.

Kirislin
sometimes the failures work out to be the best of all. Marcus wanted me to take a photo of Nekos puppies all sitting together looking intently at the camera. I never did succeed in getting him that shot but I think what I ended up with was much better. I don't know how to link it with this thing but it's the photo I took of them all NOT cooperating and I love it.
