Mjosa
That is terrific, it would have made his Dad's day, just to have a faithful companion will help make his Dad recover quickly. I know what a dog can do for an older person, my husband, 84 next month, had a beautiful present given to him last week from a dear friend of mine in NSW, a three month old very placid pied Frenchie, they are inseparable, so fully understand the love that Bart is showing and so pleased to see his new friend home again.

Loving my Oldies
As I walked my dogs through the little park at the end of my street yesterday afternoon, a mother, her two young girls AND their lovely greyhound were there by the swings. Doggy had green collar . So good to see and I am sure it will be happening more and more.
