Loving my Oldies
Well frankly, I am very disheartened by this update. Beyond my comprehension that they haven't done straight out and bought a bigger bed. . ( LOL ... just in case.).

westiemum
Update for all you Bart fans... he had his first socialising outing to the beach today - and did brilliantly with another dog belonging to the extended family. Wish him luck - he goes for his green collar assessment on Tuesday!! Go Bart!

Loving my Oldies
Ooooooh, that water. I'll bet Bart loved it. Best of luck for the Green Collar. Actually, no luck involved ...... Just a beautiful doggy.
RiverStar-Aura
Bart truly looks like such a lovely goober in every aspect of the word. He looks so happy and at home and might I add spoilt! Just a question, is Bart currently allowed out in public without a muzzle? I understand he's going for his green collar temp test tomorrow so I'm assuming not. Mostly I was wondering if the law differs in different states. Sometimes I think it's such a shame greys are required to wear muzzles because every one I've met to date are just amazing and have wonderful temperaments (even if they are muzzled) to the point I joke that many SWFs I see should be muzzled instead. It is a shame because it also makes people think they are savage. Hopefully, this is changing.
westiemum
Fantastic news Bart fans! Bart passed his green collar assessment today with flying colours and just has to wait to receive his exemption card and he can go out in public without his muzzle (which apparently he was less than impressed with!). And to top it off, his new Mum and Dad officially adopted him today too. So so thrilled for them all. Best Valentine's Day present ever! Here's the proud boy and his new collar. (Can't wipe the smile off my face!)

RSA I think the laws around muzzles for greys are pretty standard across the country. And no before his assessment today and before he receives his exemption card he wasn't/isn't allowed in public without a muzzle. So hopefully the exemption card isn't too far away for the gorgeous fellow! And yes I agree about the SWFs - I have one over my side fence who despite being a very nice dog I would cheerfully muzzle to shut him up! Mjosa
Fantastic news , just what I was hoping for and expecting, to top it off he became theirs, it is dream situation for both Bart and his beautiful owners.
westiemum
Thanks Mjosa - yep a match made in heaven. Bart's new Dad came home from hospital today and apparently he was concerned that Bart wouldn't remember him. He needn't have worried - Bart went nuts the moment he saw his Dad and had to be held until he settled. These two have had a special bond since day one. Happy tears.
