Ricky Conroy
Hi all, I have a 8 week old bulldog pup and was wondering about pro's and con's or the two way to vaccinate for kennel couch. As some would know bulldogs have small nasal cavities and I was wondering if it was safe to have the vaccine intranasal, as the vet has recommended it but the breeder has said not too. I appreciate everyones feedback. Regards, Ricky
tdierikx
Intranasal has a faster take-up than the injection version by a couple of days... but if your breeder advises the injection, I'd be going with that. Both cover the same 2 strains and last for the same length of time (approximately 6 months). T.
Jumabaar
Bulldogs shouldn't have small nasal cavities
Rebanne
if you don't need to board your pup soon I wouldn't be givin a KC vacc however you do it. If it must happen I'd go with the nasal one on a seperate day to a C3
