Kirislin
Are these dogs easy to manage or for experienced dog people? I would have thought the latter but I honestly don't know. I ask because I've seen one free to good home and I'm wondering if there's a rescue group who cares for them and finds them suitable homes. I wont post the link unless someone aske and I'll PM it, but it's not hard to find.
persephone
Oh Don't know much about them ..but AFAIK they aren't common ..and being a 'shepherd'/guardian type ,may not suit most people ...? perhaps phone a breeder in the general area ?It would be just awful if someone took the 'big fluffy' and discovered it had traits unsuited to a little suburban -work all day- must love everyone- situation Edited January 6, 2017 by persephone

Kirislin
sorry, I've only just seen this now and it says sold but I see there are other of similar types going very cheap, and in similar areas to each other, but not sure where the give away dog was. I'll pm you both of them.

Maddy
There was a sarp x for sale down here not that long ago. I wouldn't have thought they'd be common enough to really even see on the pet BSS pages, let alone crosses of them, but there it was
t a i l s.
They are definitely becoming a more common sight in rescue. BYB is taking off and there's apparently a growing market for people to take on LGD without knowledge or experience... Sad
