JulesP
The pyometra is back. Open again luckily. Specialist emergency vets were called and said to treat medically still. Current treatment is a months worth of antibiotics. Vet is calling other specialists on Monday. She is pretty bright still. Scoffed some liver treats in the vets I am a wreck. Called the vets and pretty much couldn't get anything out. Luckily they know me and said just come in straight away.

JulesP
Both times I've taken her to the vet I've said goodbye to her as I didn't know if they would want to operate and whether she would wake up from it.
mackiemad
You poor thing jules, you must be wrought with worry and fear xoxo Come on amber! Hopefully the tonne of antibiotics help and quickly
JulesP
And she just popped up at the window to tell me to get up! (she doesn't do that when she is really sick). Amazing how quickly the antibiotics work. She had 2 injections yesterday + she has the tablets. Wish mine worked so quickly! But then mine only cost $5 and hers were $200! Guest crazydoglady99
Oh Jules, I'm so pleased to hear it. I checked earlier to see if there were any updates, but it was super early. Hope you both got some rest overnight. We're thinking of you, fingers crossed she can get on top of this.

JulesP
She asked for seconds at breakfast! Don't think she has ever done that. Even when she is 'well' she usually leaves a few bit of kibble in her bowl, much to Poppy's delight.
