Chloegirl
I have just heard the devastating news from one of my puppy buyers that their dog, now 2 years old, has developed a brain tumour and will need to be PTS. She hasn't asked for a refund or anything, but I'm wondering if I should offer one? Opinions please!
JRG
I would probably offer a replacement puppy either free or much reduced

cowanbree
I would possibly offer a discounted but not free puppy, perhaps half price. A brain tumour while tragic is not genetic.

oakway
We are breeders and we don't have a crystal ball. If we did all the pups we keep would be BIS winners and not the disappointments at 9 nine months or after and have to be placed in forever pet homes. :)

alpha bet
Flat Out No - wether they ask or not People have to accept that life can be a lottery... sometimes thing fall in our favour sometimes it does... Breeders cannot and should not be seen as responsible for problems that cannot be forseen... Otherwise no one will end up taking the risk of breeding in future. Jed
No If you feel like it you could offer a replacement free or half price - but ensure they know that you take no responsibility.
