PuddleDuck
Every time I buy chicken hearts they absolutely stink. Is that normal or are the woolies ones dodgy? Hubby had to leave the room last night
_PL_
They smell very meaty so it depends on how delicate hubby is. I personally think the use by date is a bit too generous and only buy ones that have just hit the meat section and freeze the remainder asap. DobieMum
My furkids think they're the best treats available. I just roast them in the oven. Have never noticed a really bad smell, just a different one, but I can't do livers because of the smell.
Cat
1454383679[/url]' post='6785472']Yeah they smell like rank eggs. The dog seems to think they're worth a try lol I don't know about hearts but I had that the last time I bought chicken frames. I ended up having to throw them away. They stunk up the kitchen even from the freezer. From now on I am going to be the weird lady in the grocery sniffing all the meat before I buy it.
