amf
I love music and have the radio on all day when I am at home and the station I listen to has been playing Paul Simon's song Call Me Al at least once a day lately. When it comes on, Charlie stops whatever he is doing and starts barking and looking around as soon as he hears the whistling. I have to turn the radio off until I think it's safe to turn it back on. There are quite a few other songs with whistling in them that he reacts to, including Paul Simon's Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard (Paul Simon is a serial offender!) and Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People. Just wondering if anyone elses dog reacts to particular songs or music?
Papillon Kisses
Cute! It's not music, but my dog was once enthralled by one of those "how it's made" type shows where they were investigating the best way to snap freeze carrots. He was absolutely fascinated by it. He's shown zero interest in other tv shows, but does love his veggies.
BlaznHotAussies
My uncle's dog used to howl along when he'd sing Copperhead Road. Without fail! Such a cool party trick.

Sheridan
My first kerry blue used to get up and walk out of the lounge room if my Mum left the telly on in the morning and Humphrey B Bear came on.
RiverStar-Aura
Zeus tilts his head towards my car speakers when Whistle (Flo Rida?) comes on. He tries to work out where the whistling is coming from!!
trifecta
Our Belgian goes all smoochy when OH sings to her, but Castles in the Air is her favourite  I had to look the lyrics up on Google for them :D

Simply Grand
We have a little bunny toy that used to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star music box style when you pushed its tummy and whenever I made it play all three dogs would stop whatever they were doing and sit enthralled head tilting at bunny. When the music wasn't playing they would pick him up and play with him but as soon as he started singing to them they'd just listen :) He doesn't sing any more because he's been through the wash a few times. gillybob
When I am felting I always play loud music, as soon as I put Nick Cave on all the dogs leave the room. They don't mind a bit of Bob or Ray Lamontagne. But that just don't like Nick.
