_PL_
Firstly thank you ladies for your help in deciding what to choose. Canon G5X I've started mucking around without the manual just to learn where all the buttons are. I've switched it off accidentally  a few times because of where that button is. Anyway; got a nice one of goofball Harold for his Pet Rescue profile. This is a test one of what the camera can do indoors, the old one would have been a brown grainy blur! tdierikx
Gorgeous! I think you've selected both the camera and subject really well... T.
_PL_
He's a good boy. :) Such a dork. I can see there's all sorts of shadows and blurs but that what's practice is for. I'm really glad it can take quick snaps inside as part of the rehab record, here's two; intake = old camera, update = new camera. Both in the same light, I'm so pleased!! _PL_
And a flower LOL In it's full size this is really crystal clear but when you resize it, it doesn't look as nice. Should I be using photobucket or something? Edited January 27, 2016 by Powerlegs

tdierikx
I use a free program called Easy Thumbnails to resize my photos... and it doesn't lose any of the quality that you can see with the naked eye. Easy Thumbnails - http://www.fookes.com/easy-thumbnails I'm also a fan of Flickr rather than Photobucket - Photobucket does wierd things to the colour of the photos... T. _PL_
Sunday was kitten day :) we have a litter of 5 and it took hours. Some of the photos have pale colours and I think I overdid it with the focus thingy because lots have a very clear face but soft background. Might be time to study the manual. But we got a few nice ones. This boy is on black velvet, it's one of my favourite photos from the day.

_PL_
It's frustrating that there are so many photos that would have been great if kittens had just a tiny bit more of an attention span!! I don't know what to do about the toy that she was looking at, it's such a nice photo (really one of the best of her) but the yucky dangler spoils it. Still experimenting with backgrounds like I do with doggies but I think the black velvet would have been fine for all of them.
