Animal House
Cosmolo or Nekhbet on here are very good, and come highly recommended by many. Cosmolo HERE Nekhbet HERE she helped me with my Staffy a few years back, and we never had any more problems. What area of Melbourne Ellz? The Spotted Devil
I would suggest ruling out medical issues first - so a thorough vet check or see a veterinary behaviourist (Robert Holmes or Debbie Calnon). In terms of trainers, I can recommend Amanda Murcutt of Pawsitively Great Pets https://www.facebook.com/pawsitivelygreatpets/
ellz
Yes, vet is first port of call and following that, the chiropractor. Ruling out pain first, then try and delve between the ears next. Editing to add: Sandringham. Edited January 10, 2016 by ellz

Editing to add: Sandringham. unfortunately , brain lesions can be a cause of sudden aggression- I've seen this personally . Hope for a good result :hugz:

Two Best Dogs!
Ernie the Dog Bloke is my assessor/behaviourist and for behavioural training I use Positive K9 training in Kew. I have been very happy with them, I think Geraldine is the one they usually recommend for aggressive dogs but I'd suggest calling up to discuss the situation and even a one-on-one in the home. But yeah obviously rule out all the medical and pain things first, good luck! Edited January 10, 2016 by Thistle the dog
helen
I have also heard lots of great things about Debbie Calnon - hope there is nothing wrong with the poor boy
Nekhbet
Unexplained aggression will need a thorough medical examination by a good vet, I would recommend that before a consultation anyway
ellz
Thank you everybody. I have passed the information on and they are heading to the vet first, then the chiro and then will decide what route to proceed, pending the outcomes from these.
