White Shepherd mom
After being dogless for over 12 months (and hating it), we have decided to foster. If all goes well, I should be collecting the young man on Saturday. Apparently he is 7 years old and he is a large dog so I should probably ease him into some senior food (he also needs to lose a couple of kgs!) So what's new and improved with regards to dog food, treats, etc. What bones are ok to give, is BARF (the prepackaged stuff) still good, what's a good dry food? What are good supplements, flea and heartworm treatments? I really haven't kept up with it all so your suggestions are needed! Thanks!
Scottsmum
It's funny how fast stuff changes - in the time between palliative care for my last dog and a 6 month break it felt like the whole world changed - especially around insurance and flea treatments! I'm sure lots of good recommendations will come up here - but my personal recommendation for toys is k9 pro & you'll get a DOL discount with them too :) Edited to add link for thread: http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/234282-k9-pro-online-store/page__p__5969254__hl__%2Bhuski+%2Bonline+%2Bstore__fromsearch__1#entry5969254 Edited December 7, 2015 by Scottsmum
