Yonjuro
I thought I'd ask the braintrust here... Went to the pet shop the other day to get some Protexin Probiotics- didn't see any in the fridge this time. Asked and it was behind the counter on non-refrigerated shelves. I queried the sales person and she said it didn't need to be refrigerated ??? Apparently 'the rep' told her? I am positive that it must be refrigerated after opening, but was still under the impression that the sealed containers should still be cool? Can anyone confirm this??? I read somewhere that it doesnt have to be, but it will extend its shelf life if it is. But i feel like that technically means it needs to be BTW, which colour protexin do you use Yonjuro? Thanks Denali I normally just go for the green label powder. The last times I have bought it they only have a 6 odd month shelf life. Dunno if I would be wanting to purchase in Perth in Summer ?? JulesP
Some probiotics don't need to be in a fridge and some do. What does it say on the tub?
Yonjuro
It says refrigeration at < 8 C can prolong the shelf life by up to 12 months.
