Sheridan
Can anyone recommend a behaviourist in the Canberra area, please?
BarbedWire
Depends what the problem is but Heike Hahner is good. http://www.braidwoodnsw.com/heike-hahner-dog-training-animal-behaviour
Mrs Rusty Bucket
I've seen this lady recommended as well as Heike Raelene Koerber in Canberra - don't know if she's a "behaviourist" tho. BarbedWire
Heike will come to you. Sandra Hassett a vet at the animal medical centre in Phillip does behavioural consultations. I have used her and she was good. http://www.animalmedicalcentre.com.au/team/dr-sandra-hassett-b-v-sc-m-b-a-m-i-v-c-a/
Staffyluv
Heike will come to you and so will Raelene. Highly recommend both ladies. Heike helped me with Zig ages ago and I take Zig out to Raelene's Noseworks classes.
quintessence
I have recently used Paul Welsh, the Canine Coach, with great success. http://www.caninecoach.com.au/
Sheridan
Next door has a new puppy and Bunny is having OTT hysterics over the noise. She's always been barky but now she's reacting to everything. I went round the neighbours yesterday.
Diva
That's a shame. I haven't used any of these 3 for behavioural work but I know them, all good people. I get Paul to walk my dogs during the day and there are not many people I would trust to that extent with them. Guest crazydoglady99
I recommend Paul from the canine coach too. I really found sessions with him beneficial - and he is my only choice for dog walking/minding. He is 100% positive reinforcement. He is not a behaviourist as far as I am aware - but he can recommend someone if he thinks you need one.
Sheridan
Thanks all. Will give Paul a try. His prices seem quite reasonable, too.
