Never thought of giving our dogs whole eggs, do you crack the egg for them or do they work it out for themselves

they work it out for themselves. I haven't given Feather one for a while, I think I used to have to find a little stone with a point on it and make a little hole for her. I dont think Neko's ever had one. I very much doubt she'd be able to work it out for herself. Perhaps I should test her.

Tag is very clever. The other day he heard one of the chooks clucking her victory egg laying announcement cluck and he took off at full pelt headed for the henhouse. I stopped him and got the egg myself but if I wasn't there he would have had it for sure.

Thanks Denali & Kirilin, we are going to a farm on the weekend, will have interesting to see if my JRT tries to get an egg or just go after the chooks! Don't worry, we will be putting a muzzle on her as she was given up for adoption for killing chickens
