raz
This is terrible. Do you have compost that they can access in the yard? My dogs got into it a few years ago and all ended in emergency as well. Its horrible. Fingers crossed for you Kirt, and full recovery for the little onesy

*kirty*
Thanks for your thoughts. I have just spoken to the poor vet who has been up all night with them. Rupert is fine, he can come home. Toby has improved a lot, she is standing up and alert and causing trouble tangling her drip line. She can come home hopefully later today. Pudding is improving very slowly. She can now move her feet a bit and lift her head a bit. She is still very out of it. She will be in hospital for at least another day or two. I am allowed to go and visit them at lunch time. The vet is pretty confident that the issue is toxin from the rotten chicken, and not the lethabarb. He said the chicken dose of lethabarb divided by three dogs should be small enough to not be a problem. But I guess if Pudding ate the most, it may be affecting her more. We don't know how much she ate because we couldn't make her vomit.

Animal House
Oh gosh, how very scary for you all, fingers and paws crossed that they all pull through okay. Is the mum who had the pups recently okay? (sorry, I can't remember her name) Dogs do find the most disgusting things to eat don't they.

Little Gifts
I think this is good news. All three have improved overnight and just need to keep taking steps forward. I'm so glad you found them when you did. There is a lesson here for all of us with what we bury in our yards.
*kirty*
I am beating myself up about it. I am so annoyed with myself, just bloody stupid.
OSoSwift
Does he think it could be botulism as well? Glad they are on the improve. But yes never bury animals where others can get them that have been medicated or euthed with lethabarb
