grizabella
I think some breeds tend to be later than others. My Bella was 22 months I believe, which isn't very unusual for salukis.
Roova
My border terrier was pretty much six months on the dot.

Simply Grand
Quinn my Aussie Shepherd was all over the place at first, 1st season at 14 months, 2nd 11 months later, 3rd 5 months after that and now seems to have settled into 6 monthly.
Amstar
Wow yeah I have seen that having 8 or so months between I think it's just the hormones arranging themselves some must just take longer than other lol
Sheridan
I've been wondering about this as Miss Bunny will be my first bitch who is entire.
Diva
Everything from 6 months for a Belgian Tervueren to 22 months for one of the Borzoi. The Borzoi don't always cycle twice a year either, it can be 8 months between. Edited August 6, 2015 by Diva

Rebanne
I've been wondering about this as Miss Bunny will be my first bitch who is entire. Sheridan ask the breeder what her lines do. Doesn't mean Bunny will be the same but it will give you an idea

tdierikx
Different ages for different bitches... most were of the same breed too. Had one bitch who cycled every THREE months - you could set your clock by it too! Was so glad to have her spayed... T.
Heidley
Foundation bitch came in at 17 months, daughter from 2nd litter came in at 11 months, daughters from her 3rd and final litter came in at 9 & 16 months. Mum only cycled once a year until her first litter and was then 6-7 months, daughters are pretty much the same time frame although skipped the 12 months til their second seasons

Dogs4Fun
Standard poodle bitch 14 months for first season, then 9 monthly thereafter. This is very typical for her family. Edited September 2, 2015 by Dogs4Fun
JRG
Anything from 10 months to 2+ years for first time then between 6 months and a year subsequently
Justrace
8 months and then 6 months - almost to the day. Her mum and nana were over 12 months before they had theirs. I am pretty sure she was the first of her litter mates to come in season.
