Monyosh
Hi Everyone, Some good friends I visit regularly got a Japanese Seitz puppy about 6 months ago. He was fine with me until he saw me with the vacuum cleaner a month ago (I didn't know at the time he got upset by it) Now he growls at me often and even with my friends intervening to say I'm a friend it isn't changing. Is there any way to undo the association between me and the vacuum cleaner? Thank you monyosh
Steph M
what about you bring fun things instead? A new toy, a treat, a Kong filled with something smelly and irresistible? No need to push it on him, but might help forge a new connection over the crummy one?
persephone
Agree with Steph :) AVOID eye contact - don't talk to him . have a pocket full of treats and toys ..and as you walk by and he is NOT growling - casually drop something . if he is growling - then just sit quietly and don't take any notice of him .
