Peruvian Inca Orchid Dog

I agree that it's probably google wisdom. :) I always wonder what the hairless crestie crosses on gumtree will end up looking like.

Although there is only one breeder, the dog could have been imported as a pet by someone not necessarily born here. Did the breeder identify it as an Orchid Dog?

Yes that's a good point it could've been imported. The breeder said it wasn't an OD and she gave them a huge spray for saying it was and told them to not advertise it as such, I don't blame her really. They deleted her comments instead.

Is this the hairless kelpie that's been doing the rounds on social media?

I've seen that dog on FB. She is bigger and doesn't have hair on her face. Poor little darlings.

Do you mean this girl?

We just arranged her move through work, she is quite the office celeb at the moment! What an interesting lady!

It may have been the spray that made them a little hostile to the idea that the dog isn't what they're calling it. However, Google wisdom does seem to go around a bit, and people are very quick to assign breeds to mixes without any real evidence. Dodgy DNA tests don't help, either.

I hope the dog manages to find a new home, whatever its parentage.
