Salukifan
How have I had 6 dogs in my life and never experienced this? When it happens in a larger dog, my first reaction is to suggest that the dog be chiropracted.. can be a sign hips are out.
LisaCC
I've never had it happen before this. Normally dogs express it themselves when they toilet, but unhealthy, runny poos can stop them from expressing naturally at the right time. If Ernie was being fed the wrong food when he was away from you there is a good chance that contributed to them being full and not expressing properly. tdierikx
Trouble was wet stinky last night... but she'd been out in the rain being a typical Labrador for about an hour. She had the option to come inside and veg on the couch (my back door is always open), but she decided getting drenched was more fun... grrr! Took nearly 2 hours in front of the heater to get her almost dry too! Ratbag dog! T.
