HazyWal
Somersby RSPCA have an almost 7 year old Anatolian Shepherd in their shelter. Now I know nothing about this breed so he may be a cross but just in case he's not I'd thought I'd let anyone interested know. Somersby RSPCA is on the Central Coast of NSW one hour North of Sydney. This shelter WILL work with reputable rescue, I used to cat test greyhounds here. http://adoptapet.com.au/animal/animalDetails.asp?animalType=3&state=2&tpage=1&searchType=4&animalid=202232 Edited June 6, 2015 by HazyWal
Aphra
He's only young too by the looks of him. I have a very old Anatolian - they're great dogs but I think a lot depends on the lines. I've rescued from Somersby, they were good to deal with. Somersby RSPCA have an almost 7 year old Anatolian Shepherd in their shelter. HazyWal
He's 6 years 9 months, I have no idea how long lived they are and yes Somersby are great to work with as far as rescue goes. The shelter manager and staff are wonderful.
Dame Aussie
I thought he looked younger than that too! Anatolians have pretty good lifespans, he should have a good few years ahead of him. He's a gorgeous boy!

HazyWal
Well he's been adopted so I hope it's someone who is breed savvy so he doesn't end up back in the shelter again :/
