Esky the husky
Hey guys, Considering flying my bullarab boy and myself up to a race in qld this year. Was wondering how I go about planning and booking the trip? Do I still need to go through an agent like dogtainers or wayrod? Can anyone give me rough costs? He's 38.5 kg so Im guessing it's going to be costly!
Christina
I have used Animal Transport on Henley Beach Road for years. Great prices, reliable, responsible & never had any cause for worry or complaint. Phone 8354 0499 m 0412818443
Pjrt
Just call and ask about costs. Personally I have used jet pets several times without incident or complaint. They will happily give you a quote without booking. If my memory serves me right some of the websites have get a quote type set up too. Could be some $$$
The Spotted Devil
I just booked Zig's flights for the Dally Nationals in QLD - went online for Qantas directly. Confirmed his flights and given approx cost (own crate) then booked my flight to accompany. It's pretty easy.
LisaJ
I book mine and my dogs flight with directly Virgin at the same time. Melb-Syd rtn. Call Virgin and find out their price.
Steph M
If you're flying its way, way cheaper to book on with the airline as part of your ticket. Virgin do have a weight limit of 65kg incl crate for most flights, so if he's big QF might be the go if he's big. If you need a hand hiring a crate, give me a yell. I can give you a hand thru work. :)
