Handmade Dog Clothing

Does anyone know where I might be able to order handmade dog cloths for our little Chihuahua, I am looking for polar fleece jumpers and pj's, greyhound style polar fleece jacket as well as knitted jumpers.

Claudia is a little under 2kg's but she is a bit long in the back so most standard sizes don't fit her.

It may be an idea to go to the local craft group or seniors centre and ask, I know the women's craft group here sew/knit/embroider/applique/crochet items for people who ask.

Worth an ask anyway :)

My foster carer found someone great via ebay, i'll see if I can get the details.

I ordered something from an etsy wholesaler who specialised in Italian Greyhound clothing (they are very variable and have an unusual shape).

The first package I got was a mistake and the person donated the belly bands (made for a different breed) for me to find someone that could use them.

The coat finally arrived (this was all coming from the US so took weeks all up to achieve), and the only way I can describe it would be that it might have fitted a very long Dachshund with legs in the wrong places .... I was exasperated with the whole process and I won't bother going overseas for coats again.

[Little Gifts]

I've been knitting and sewing a variety of coat styles for a range of breeds for the past couple of years (mostly custom made) but sadly I wont have time this year (despite a sewing room still full of wool and fleece!). I do still have some fleece and knitted coats already made up. If you want to give me some measurements I can see what I've got on hand? Neck, chest and body length?

There are a couple of people on Etsy who custom make pj's here in Australia. My fave is a lady with a pei called Paddington. He features in a lot of her pictures. I wish Tempeh would be my model!
