Harriers

I was at the Sydney Royal over the weekend and came across a breed I'd never really taken much notice of before - the Harrier.

What a beautiful looking dog

While at first glance they're not appropriate for me I thought I'd see if I could find some information on them but it seems that they're not that popular in Aus. Does anyone have one?

I'll continue googling for info but where better to start than DOL :D

There are not many around. I think of them as being between a beagle and a foxhound. I quite like them but they are not for me. They are a hunting dog, a scent hound.

I saw some in Tasmania a couple of years ago. Mrytlecreek was the Kennel name.

We must've crossed paths that day MW as I was there watching the Salukis, Basenjis and Harriers too. They are a beautiful dog but I know little about them as well. I do have a foxhound in my sights though one day because I love their larger size.
