MYSQL
Has anyone recently Imported a dog/puppy from New Zealand? and if so what were the costs & who did you use as an agent? I have been quoted about $2500 for a dog in a PP60.
SkySoaringMagpie
Has anyone recently Imported a dog/puppy from New Zealand? and if so what were the costs & who did you use as an agent? I have been quoted about $2500 for a dog in a PP60. I haven't imported but I have exported and that figure seems about right to me. Air freighting dogs to NZ is insanely expensive for some odd reason.
DeltaCharlie
That sounds about right, where possible we combine with someone else and put 2 puppies into the crate and share the cost.
poocow
Contact Matt at Bay City Pet Travel and see what they can arrange. I would say it would be more costly from NZ to Perth than from NZ to an East coast airport.
Sandra777
Sending TO NZ is far more expensive because of the testing required so can't really compare them. Not recent but it cost less than $1000 for a 15kg adult three years ago. I would try for a few more quotes myself :-) A lot of the leg work can be done by someone other than the agent if you have a person at the other end prepared to do it.. if not Dogpower are awesome. cowanbree
It cost me $2,200 from Sydney to Christchurch 18mths ago and I did shop round. You also have to allow for GST, it is not cheap anymore
cowanbree
Just reread the original post, to Aust is a lot cheaper. You really should be able to do it for less than that although WA adds to the expense. I would have said around $1,500.
Bob
Don't quote me for accuracy but I think we paid around $1900 for a bedlington bitch into Alice Springs around two years ago. Cheers,
