CanberraCarer Posted March 18, 2015 Share Posted March 18, 2015 Hi all My sister in Harvey bay in Queensland has terminal cancer. She has a very large wolfhound cross desexed male dog. He is really friendly and has no major behavioural issues. (Except that he steals food if it's left laying around ????). she is going away tomorrow as a final holiday with her teenage son. We thought we had something organised for her dog, but it has fallen through the day before she is meant to leave. As you can imagine, she is stressed out big time about the plans falling through. Can anybody recommend anyone reliable who would house sit for her in Harvey bay. The house is basic but very comfortable, with a/c and foxtel. Easy walk to shops and beach. She will be gone for three weeks. She can't afford to put him in a pet lodge. He loves other dogs but is not suitable with cats and chickens as he thinks they are toys. Thanks, I actually spoke to Nina before I posted because she knows my sisters situation. She can't suggest anyone.
