GABBA
Hi. Just wondering what is the best method of treating flea-ridden puppys, 8 weeks old and even less. Thanks.
persephone
ADVANTAGE 'spot on' can be directly used on baby pups - do NOT rely on guess work - phone the manufacturers they will guide you as to how much, etc . if they pups are still with Mum - use the advantage on her ..and the pups will get some on them as well. Also completely change bedding/fleabomb the area (keeping all dogs away for 24 hrs) Edited March 8, 2015 by persephone
Christina
For a few litters of dumped over my fence 4 week old kittens I used a weak dilution of Martha Gardeners Wool Wash to bath them & then went over every part of them using a human nit comb & repeated the next day. Block the ears if possible with some cotton wool as with heavy infestation fleas will run in the ears when you bath them.
nowstarin
Advantage is registered for use in pups and kittens from newborn and is safe. Use 0-4 kg one full vial Also note Martha gardeners is potentially toxic on canines. Many cases of serious reactions have been reported.
