Rebanne Posted July 13, 2015 Share Posted July 13, 2015 Howdy!! Anyone in WA doing the ET this year? Going to give it a go with Butch Brittany, he will be fine... it's me I'm worried about! Hoping to do some bike training with other dogs between now and September but I think our general fitness should hopefully be OK, he's doing 8km stints easily. This will be the first time I've attempted ET, would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous... any tips, hints or tricks would be gratefully appreciated! I've done 3 ET's and never did any bike training with other dogs. My first 2 were obedience/agility dogs and the last is a show dog, so all were used to being around other dogs and doing their own thing. Certainly was not a problem yesterday with my greyhound. Just be careful you don't over do it. 8 k stints 3 times a week would hold a Brittany fine. It's more then I did with Warrior and he passed easily. Good luck.
