persephone
When you've seen your last Christmas ...it doesn't really matter if you look like a 'pot-head' when you are sleeping ... Old Gert , fading each week , but still happy and sort of mobile ...

Scottsmum
Dear old girl. This makes my heart ache a little and I think I might have dust in my eyes - they're kinda watery.

dogbesotted
She is a tough old thing ...and it does hurt to see her sleeping the sleep of the deaf and ancient - but , she is where she wants to be :) and that in the end is what is of the utmost importance.. bless her. The oldies certainly have the art of heart stealing down pat... H
persephone
She is so funny ..(to us) and so serious. In her mind she is still top dog and able to stand up for herself ... in reality she has almost no voice - not many teeth and a tendency to fall if taking a sharp corner ;) The younger ones DO still fall into line ..and she can still sneak her way to where the left over cat food is ;)
tdierikx
Sounds like a copy of my old Zeddy... never could fight to save her life, but feisty as they come... even now when she's as unstable as all getout on those 15 year old hind legs... *sigh* T. persephone
poor old wobbler is recovering from a vestibular problem .. she was unable to do anything much for a few days - eyes flicking, severe head tilt , etc ... now she is back to thinking she's boss , even tho a growl sounds like a hiss ..and although her balance is not brilliant - she can still enjoy a walk , left over crusts for brekkie , and is keen to 'referee' the younger dogs at play.
