Mrs Rusty Bucket
They say the word Mauri comes from the Maori word meaning life force Yup - that's the French argument for reclaiming their stuff... the Maori would need is a good French trade lawyer. Yonjuro
I thought that all the European stuff was based on using names from regions - like Champagne, Bordeaux, Oporto, Cornish Pasties etc? Will freely admit I am not fully conversant with all the ins and outs :) But thumbs up if the Moari people can get some ownership or compensation from them using a word from their language :) I don't like the chances when any country can make Bourbon, Whisky and even Sake is made in Australia ??
