Loving my Oldies Posted February 2, 2015 Author Share Posted February 2, 2015 What I didn't realise (and both sorts look the same) is that because they are close to his head, he can rub on them. The slots for the velcro bands are very close to his eyes and I think when he was having a rub (while I raced to get to him to stop him) he did rub the rough part against his eye because he squinted for quite some time afterwards. I remember seeing the New Inventors program where the device was first shown, and that would have been years ago. The man designed it because his dog had had eye surgery, but I rather thing the "refinements" he has had to adopt over the years haven't improved on it. He was so sweet on the phone that I am really sorry it didn't work for me as I have never forgotten the program.
