Incontinence While Asleep

Hi I have a friend who has just had her18mnth old kelpie desexed. He has had all stitches removed over a week ago. One of his testicles or the shell as the vets put it remained hard and swallon. He has been on a course of anti biotics but not much has changed so he is due to go back for another check up. Aside from that information he has started urinating in his sleep. he doesn't seem to notice straight away but gets quite upset when he does wake up and notices and no he doesn't get into trouble for it so I highly doubt that's why he seems nervous or almost embarrassed. So I was wondering if anyone had any info as to if the desexing might be the cause? Maybe a weak bladder now or maybe due to the large testy shell?

She is taking him to the vet regardless but Would be great just to hear some general ideas and feed back from u guys thanks :)

excuse the bad typing!

I've had young healthy dogs do it occasionally if they've had a really active day and are very tired. For example when I first started racing my whippets. They'd come home exhausted and sometimes wet the bed. Another time I recall Tag having a big day at the beach and he did it too. Is it possible that's what's happening or is it too frequent?
