Her Boss was away , , so I also gave her a proper burial with an old sheep yard gate , and wagon wheel on her grave. She was well into her teen years, and her system was just breaking down - tho she was only really "ill/in pain" for about 24 hrs , thankfully . Deaf, almost blind , and very wobbly - she still had a hearty appetite , and was happy to woof along with the pack - even if she didn't know why. I so hope she has has lots of humans to cadge sandwiches from , over that bridge :) this was taken in March - when she was shetlering in the porch during a thunderstorm ...
