With the Vizslas, I have always felt it increased their time to recove. I prefer the dry the site type of procedures as others have indicated. Creams can be breeding grounds for bugs and these sorts of wounds are best kept clean and open with a drying lotion applied. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I too thought hotspot but once she was treated by a chiropractor the dog stopped chewing and the sore went away.
