BC Crazy
How about dried fruits? Most dried fruit has lots of sugar in it. I would try the fresh.
Staffyluv
Oh - our dogs pick up walnuts from under the tree and shell them to enjoy the treat inside - they love them . NEVER FEED MACADAMIAS . I have heard that a million times pers. My sisters SBTs have always eaten the maccas from under her tree and they have never been sick from them. They shell the nuts themselves, cracking them open and then eating the nuts. usua Do you know what the issue is with them, I googled but can only find 'don't fee them' - nothing as to what it does? I feed loads of stuff to Zig and did with Ollie as well. Watermelon, strawberries, tomatoes, apple, orange, mango (but I usually just share a bit of mine, they are so expensive these days). Zig helps himself to the tomatoes and strawberries from the garden. Although I did have to take him to the vets once as he ate all the tomatoes off the cherry tomato bush, even the green ones and he had a tummy ache because of it. Vet said that green tomatoes can be toxic to dogs. They just gave him something to make him sick, so he bought them up and he was fine after that. My chickens love watermelon on hot days as well.
