hankdog
So after our little incident last week I bought my dog some new bling. Retail therapy is a good thing. I wanted a handle because I found being leashed to a dog in a scrap was a pretty bad idea so this is the K9Pro tactical harness. It is seriously weighty, think horse halter type construction and those brass buckles are going nowhere. Its still a bit stiff but I think will soften in a week or two and I need to get the adjustments right but I'm pretty happy with it. I was a bit concerned about Jake looking a bit too over the top in but I think its a goodie. Post your dog bling pictures, I know theres some serious dog gear out there. hankdog
We will see, I think the large chest plate will help keep it centered and in place rather than allowing it to flex and shift around like the lightweight harnesses.

Yonjuro
Oooh, I like that, and for us blokes, we do not call this bling, it is "kit" or "gear" By the way, Jake looks wonderful, Id love to see more pics!
Roova
That harness looks awesome, he looks very handsome in it! My bling is pretty low key in comparison but it arrived today and I'm really happy how cute it looks :) It was from woo woo on Etsy. Fingers crossed the link works, I'm on my phone so no idea what I'm doing!

hankdog
You may be right Yonjuro I think boy dogs have gear. I love poppys' new bling. Girl dogs can definitely be a bit more out there although I do take sadistic delight in decking Jake out in pink when I can.
denali
Love his harness! You may be right Yonjuro I think boy dogs have gear. I love poppys' new bling. I think my males dogs are a little more feminine than i imagine they like haha Mine is definitely not as serious looking, but i got these leads in the mail the day before last, and used them for the first time yesterday. I LOVE them ! A friend of a friend made them for me. They are leather, colour coded like my dogs :D So soft and has the o-rings in various places so they can be long, short, looped, tied around things. So handy! Edit- tried to flip photo. Couldn't get it to work. So youll have to turn your head :) Edited December 5, 2014 by denali
Kirislin
Not really blingy but I made this collar and really liked it on her until her brat of a brother chewed it. I think Marcus let him because he never liked it. Neek Neek. by kirislin, on Flickr

Kirislin
Um, that handmade collar is beautiful! You should go into business, Kirislin! I agree Steph M. Beautiful collar Kirislin I used to make them and sell them all over the world, purely by word of mouth but I had a crazy stalker. Only when I stopped making them did she go away. dididog
Kirislin your collars are gorgeous!!! Not really bling either but I hoped Didi wearing this bandana would stop everyone thinking she's a boy... didn't work though! Should've bought a pink one. It's reversible though which is pretty neat :) Edited December 5, 2014 by Terri S.

Maybe I'll get back into it one day. I like Didis blue side bandana better, but I suppose that makes people think she's a boy even more.
