Sail_Away
Didi has a cool mat coming and I will probably buy her a few toys. I think I'll buy her a new soft toy and a new treat dispensing toy as I haven't gotten one of those in a while. And then I also want to get a ball on a rope for training and a good water retrieve toy, something like the Chuckit bumper maybe? I don't really have anyone to buy presents for at Christmas so I don't mind going a bit overboard for the dog  They are a favourite here, has put up to a years worth of river retrieving and countless sand burying sessions without a mark so far. I leave christmas shopping to the last moment so I'm not sure I was thinking of buying the Chuckit Squirrel... does anyone know if it works similar to a frisbee? I left her foam frisbee in the car and it warped so need a new one Water toys are used a lot here unfortunately I've lost a few like the Kong Stix and Bumi in the ocean because they didn't get retrieved ... the Rogz Lighthouse is a great toy for pools if anyone is interested! Is the foam frisbee the Starmark one? That is the best one I have found out of all the ones I have used, but the Chuckit Flying Squirrel can definitely be used as a frisbee too. It's called an 'easy glider' - I think I got it from Clean run...? Can't remember. I think the foam ones are better for their teeth...I thought the chuck it squirrel might be visually appealing for my gun dog though?

Ah yes that sounds like the Star Mark durafoam one, they are def my favourite (and Wisdom's). I love all the Starmark Chuckit gear, it is really good quality though I haven't personally used the Flying Squirrel. The durafoam discs come in bright yellow as well as blue and purple, so the yellow might also be visibly appealing? It's blue and has LOADS of teeth marks in it But she loves the frisbee more than the ball right now!! Does anyone know if the chuck it squirrel goes pretty far? Steph M
Our spoiled little brats are getting a Tuffy octopus, an empty nester duck, a babble ball (which I already regret!) and a water bottle santa like this, http://www.amazon.com/Kyjen-2811-Buddies-Holiday-Squeaking/dp/B00CO2U6XS Plus a little stocking of treats from the Australian Pet Treat Company. I also want something good for the beach, any ideas most welcome! Spoiled monkeys! I have to find something for the cats too…
denali
Mine got a bag of treats each, Henry got a DOOG Stick Family toy- they are hilarious. Bought for my entertainment haha Deniki got some chuckit balls- a glow in the dark one, and one tuggable one with a string, Kokoda is meant to have a rope knot lizard on the way- but we will see if it comes in time. The cat has some dried fish- its been hard keeping them out of that one!

She swallows too much water trying to pick balls up and too much river water = the squirts so was looking for something easier to pick up on the move! silentchild
That collar is way cool, Huski!!! Too bad my girl's mane covers up any and every collar she has on. Your photo has just reminded me, I need to get her an In Training Julius K9 harness too.....
Sail_Away
So I just came home today to find my girls collar in pieces all over the floor... that's sorted out what she's getting for xmas then!
dididog
Here is Wiz in her new collar, it has a handle on it too, love how it looks. I've been wanting to get a harness for labels for Didi since she outgrew an old one but am hesitant as it's a fair bit of money for purely aesthetics and she doesn't cope well in the heat so thought it might be a bit too much for her. The collar looks a way better option! And it would stop her martingale slipping down... consider me enabled

This is a very wide collar (so it can be used in agitation work) so it is more visible on coated dogs than normal collars. However having said that I do love having short coated dogs, I can put any collar on them! Lol

Chequeredblackdog
Yes, what's with Clean Run and free shipping this year? Think postage has become too expensive. I'm trying to save my pennies and just hoping for a drama free mating etc for Miss Em!I emailed Clean Run awhile back and they said they are no longer offering free international shipping as it was not sustainable enough for them Surely the entire DOL community would keep their business afloat over the xmas period.... Much sadness  Though might be a good thing the way the aussie dollar is atm.......
